• Try to choose ripe berries, because unripe grapes will cause diarrhea. They are also very acidic, and this is harmful to the rodent’s stomach.
• It is better to buy green grapes for a pet, not black, and seedless.
  

  It is forbidden to feed rodents with seeds of this berry.

• Black varieties can be given, but with restrictions – only seedless and a very small amount, because these varieties are sweeter than green ones.
• In order for the berries to benefit and not harm the hamster, offer them to your pet no more than twice a week, one at a time, and only if the baby has not yet eaten sweets that day.
• Wash the treat well.

If you give grapes to hamsters, following these recommendations, the berries will give them pleasure with a pleasant taste and will not only not harm their health, but will bring benefits.

Grapes for Syrian and Djungarian hamsters

Tiny pets of the Dzungarian breed require a special diet, as they are often prone to diabetes. It is better to include sweets (fruits and berries) in this diet in very moderate amounts so as not to provoke a disease. Grapes can be given to Dzungarians quite a bit.

Syrian babies can eat berries as usual – one a day, twice a week. For them, the use of grapes is especially useful, since the substances contained in this product help prevent joint diseases, which these rodents often suffer from.

Feed your pets correctly, do not forget about common sense, take into account the health characteristics of a particular individual. Sweet berries are not contraindicated for rodents, but if there is any doubt that your baby is obese or diabetic, it is better not to risk his health and not aggravate the situation.
